A magnificent, fast-growing (3-4 m) and extremely abundant flowering Polish variety with medium-sized purple-blue flowers and light-colored stamens. A frost-resistant variety, low-maintenance, and easy to grow. The plant looks beautiful both in the garden and in pots on balconies or terraces.
Application: It climbs wonderfully on pergolas, fences, walls, gazebos, trellises, and natural supports such as coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs, and small bushes. It grows beautifully in large pots on balconies, terraces, and in small gardens. An excellent ground-covering plant.
Flowering: From early June to October.
Exposure: Any.
Care: Plant the clematis 5 cm deeper than it grew in the pot, and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base with low shrubs, and before winter, cover with bark to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Fertilize from April and water intensely during the growing season.
Pruning: A variety that blooms on this year's shoots, so it should be pruned heavily in late February or early March. In the first year after planting, cut 30 cm above the soil, above strong buds; in the second year, 40 cm, and in subsequent years, 50 cm above the soil.
