A beautiful, very profusely blooming variety with wonderful, plate-sized pink-red flowers with creamy stamens. Frost-resistant and low-maintenance, it is perfect for cultivation in Polish climatic conditions. The plant prefers moist soil that should not overheat. It thrives in warm, sunny locations sheltered from the wind. It blooms twice a year, making it a long-lasting decoration for pergolas and trellises with its flowers. The soil should be fertile, humus-rich, well-drained, with a pH of 6.0-7.0.
A beautiful, very profusely blooming variety with wonderful, plate-sized pink-red flowers with creamy stamens. Frost-resistant, low-maintenance plant, perfect for cultivation in Polish climatic conditions.
Application: Climbs wonderfully on pergolas, fences, walls, gazebos, trellises, and natural supports such as coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs, and bushes.
Flowering: From May to June and again in September.
Exposure: Any.
Care: Plant clematis 5 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base, e.g., with low shrubs, and cover with bark up to a height of 10-20 cm before winter. Grows best in fertile, humus-rich soils that are calcium-rich (pH 6-7) and well-drained. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: Spring flowering occurs on last year's shoots, so in late February and March, remove dead and diseased shoots, and lightly prune healthy shoots, i.e., in the first year after planting, 30 cm above the ground above strong buds, in the second year 70 cm, and in subsequent years 150 cm above the ground.
