A beautiful, very abundantly blooming variety with wonderful, large, plate-like pink-red flowers with creamy anthers. The plant is frost-resistant, low-maintenance, and perfect for cultivation in Polish climatic conditions. The plant prefers a moist substrate that should not overheat. It thrives in warm, sunny locations, shielded from the wind. It blooms twice a year, so it will adorn our pergolas and trellises with its flowers for a long time. The soil should be fertile, humus-rich, well-drained, with a pH of 6.0-7.0.
A beautiful, very prolific blooming variety with wonderful, large, plate-like pink-red flowers with creamy anthers. The plant is frost-resistant, low-maintenance, and perfect for cultivation in Polish climatic conditions.
Application: It climbs beautifully on pergolas, fences, walls, arbors, grids, and natural supports like coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs, and small bushes.
Blooming: From May to June and again in September.
Exposure: Any.
Care: Plant the clematis 5 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Shade the base, for example with low shrubs, and before winter, cover it with bark to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Fertilize from April, and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: It blooms in spring on last year's growth, so at the end of February or beginning of March, cut dead and diseased stems and prune healthy, living stems lightly: in the first year after planting, cut 30 cm above the ground above strong buds, in the second year 70 cm, and in the following years 150 cm above the ground.
