Application: It climbs wonderfully on pergolas, fences, walls, arbors, trellises, and natural supports such as coniferous trees, deciduous trees, shrubs, and small bushes. It looks fantastic as a groundcover plant.
Flowering: From April to the end of May.
Exposure: Any.
Care: Plant the clematis 10 cm deeper than it was in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base with low shrubs and before winter, cover it with bark to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: Do not prune at all as the variety flowers on old, previous year's shoots. If necessary, pruning to limit spreading should be done only after flowering, no lower than 1 meter from the ground.
