This clematis is a beautiful and original climbing plant. It is a frost-resistant plant with white, slightly creamy flowers. The flowers are medium-sized. The plant is perfect for planting on pergolas, arbors, fences, and trellises. It is an unusual decoration for our gardens. We can enjoy the flowers from March to September. It grows up to 300 cm in height. Its advantage is strong growth. Clematis prefers a sunny or semi-shaded position, as well as protection from strong and cold winds. The soil should be fertile, well-drained, and moderately moist.
An exceptional variety of clematis. It is distinguished by ornamental, evergreen leaves and an exceptionally early blooming period. The first flowers appear at the end of March, and it looks most beautiful in April and May. Due to its early blooming period, it is recommended for pots and containers.
Care and requirements: It prefers sunny places (shaded at the roots). It is a moderately demanding plant, thriving best in humus-rich, fertile, well-drained, and non-wet soils. Regular fertilizing is recommended starting in April. The variety is somewhat frost-resistant, making it ideal for growing in pots indoors.
Blooming: A very abundantly flowering variety. It blooms from March to May, with beautiful white flowers and a pale green center. The flowers are fragrant. An additional advantage is its ornamental, evergreen leaves.
Planting: When planting the plant, make sure the lower part of the vine is shaded/protected, e.g., by taller shrubs. It is recommended to mulch the seedling with bark to protect it from weed overgrowth and soil drying out.
Pruning: Light pruning is recommended in late autumn or early spring. It involves removing damaged or dead branches. The rest should be shortened by about 20 cm.
Application: It reaches about 2.5-3 meters in height. Like all clematis, it climbs well, so it should be planted near trellises or supports. It can be grown in a pot or container, making it ideal for indoor or conservatory cultivation.
