A beautiful large-flowered variety, early blooming with opalescent, pearl-like flowers. It grows up to 3 meters. A variety that is resistant in our entire climatic zone.
Usage: Perfect for planting in containers on balconies and terraces, as well as for growing along fences, pergolas, trellises, poles, and other garden supports.
Blooming: Flowers are light blue with hints of lilac, with pale brown stamens on white filaments in the center. Flower size 15-20 cm. Blooms from May to August.
Exposure: Any.
Care: Plant the clematis 5 cm deeper than it was in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base with low shrubs, and before winter, cover with bark up to 10-20 cm high. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: Spring blooming on last year's shoots, so in late February or early March, cut dead and diseased stems. For healthy, living stems, prune lightly: in the first year after planting, cut 30 cm above the ground just above strong buds, in the second year 70 cm, and in subsequent years 150 cm above the ground.
