A hardy, fast-growing (3-4m) and very prolific blooming variety with carmine-pink flowers and golden stamens. The plant looks beautiful both in the garden and in pots on balconies or terraces, is frost-resistant, and low-maintenance. Ideal for cultivation in Polish climatic conditions.
Use: It climbs beautifully on pergolas, fences, walls, arbors, trellises, and natural supports such as coniferous, deciduous trees, shrubs, and small shrubs. It also grows well in large pots on balconies, terraces, and small gardens.
Blooming: From June to the end of September.
Exposure: Eastern, western, northern.
Care: Plant the clematis 5cm deeper than it was in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Shade the base, e.g., with low shrubs, and cover it with bark before winter to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Fertilize from April and water it intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: This variety blooms on this year's shoots, so it should be pruned strongly in late February to early March. In the first year after planting, prune 30 cm from the ground above strong buds, in the second year 40 cm, and in subsequent years 50 cm from the ground.
