This is a Japanese variety with fully double flowers, 11-14 cm in diameter. It blooms on last year's shoots, almost from the base of the plant, in the second half of May-June. The leaves are dark green, simple or trifoliate, and young shoots have a purple color. Clematis grows up to 1.5 m. It requires light pruning (at a height of about 100-150 cm above the ground). It is suitable for southern, eastern, and also western exposures. It clings to supports with leaf petioles. It beautifully covers pergolas, fences, and gazebos. It prefers well-lit, fertile, constantly moist, and well-drained positions. It climbs natural supports such as deciduous or coniferous shrubs. Due to its compact growth, it is an excellent plant for container cultivation, making it a beautiful decoration for balconies, terraces, and gazebos.
