The flowers are large, with cream-pink sepals and an intense pink stripe running through the center. The stamens are yellow. During the first flowering in May - June, the flowers are semi-double, and during the second flowering in September, they are single. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, moist, well-drained soils with a pH ranging from neutral to slightly acidic. It does not tolerate waterlogged, heavy, clayey, or overly light, sandy soils. It can grow in any exposure, from south to north, but in diffused light. It does not like very sunny and hot locations. It is perfect for pergolas, fences, and gazebos. It requires delicate pruning in early spring, cutting dead or damaged shoots. The remaining shoots should be cut 30 cm above the ground, just above strong buds, in the first year after planting, 70 cm in the following year, and 150 cm in subsequent years. In the garden, it needs supports made of elements with a diameter of up to 1 cm. It looks beautiful on nets, trellises, ladders, and wires, as well as on natural supports such as deciduous and coniferous shrubs.
