A beautifully flowering vine with bicolored flowers. It wraps around supports using leaf petioles. It grows moderately strong, reaching a height of 2-3 meters. The flowers are large, with cream-pink sepals and an intense pink stripe running through the center. The stamens are yellow. During the first bloom in May-June, the flowers are semi-double, and in the second bloom in September, they are single. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, moist, well-drained soils with a neutral to slightly acidic pH. It does not tolerate waterlogged, heavy, clayey, or overly light, sandy soils. It can grow in any exposure, from south to north, but prefers diffused light. It does not like very sunny and hot locations. Ideal for pergolas, fences, and arbors. Requires gentle pruning in early spring, cutting off dead or damaged shoots. In the first year after planting, cut the remaining shoots 30 cm above the ground above strong buds, in the following year 70 cm, and in subsequent years 150 cm. In the garden, it requires supports made of elements with a diameter up to 1 cm. It looks beautiful on nets, trellises, ladders, strings, and natural supports, such as deciduous and coniferous shrubs.
