A clematis belonging to the group of very vigorous-growing varieties. The variety is resistant throughout our climate zone. It grows up to 2.5-4m.
This clematis has small bell-shaped flowers in a light color, with a flower diameter of about 8 cm. The flowers appear on last year's shoots. It has interesting leaves, which are serrated, glossy, and dark green. In winter, the leaves turn brown.
Ideal as a ground-covering plant. It climbs beautifully on trellises, gazebos, and pergolas. It prefers a warm, sunny spot, partial shade, and protection from strong, cold winds.
Plant the clematis 10 cm deeper than it was in the pot, and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Shade the base, e.g., with low shrubs, and before winter, mulch with bark to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and airy soils. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
The plant is resistant to diseases.
