Application: It climbs beautifully on pergolas, fences, walls, arbors, trellises, and natural supports like coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs, and small bushes. It also makes a great ground cover plant.
Blooming: From May to June.
Exposure: South, East, West.
Care: Plant the clematis 10 cm deeper than it grew in the pot, at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base, for example, with low shrubs, and before winter, pile bark up to 10-20 cm high. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: Do not prune at all, as this variety blooms on old shoots from the previous year. To limit its growth, prune only after flowering, not lower than 1 m from the ground.
