The plant looks beautiful both in the garden and in pots on balconies or terraces, it is frost-resistant and low-maintenance. This clematis is successfully cultivated throughout Poland.
Uses: It climbs beautifully on pergolas, fences, walls, gazebos, trellises, and natural supports such as trees, shrubs, and bushes. It grows wonderfully in large pots on balconies, terraces, and in small gardens.
Flowering: from the beginning of July to October.
Exposure: south, west, east
Care: Plant the clematis 5 cm deeper than it was in the pot, and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base with, for example, low shrubs, and before winter, cover it with bark to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Start fertilizing in April and water abundantly during the growing season.
Pruning: This variety blooms on this year's shoots, so cut it back hard in late February or March. In the first year after planting, cut it 30 cm above strong buds, in the second year 40 cm, and in subsequent years 50 cm above the ground.
