An Estonian variety with exceptionally dark purple, velvety flowers on long pedicels. The stamens are yellow-green. It blooms abundantly from late June to August. Best planted against a light background. Clematis prefers sunny, warm places, sheltered from strong and cold winds. It is ideal for garden use on pergolas, trellises, and fences. The soil should be fertile, humus-rich, well-draining, and moist, with a pH of 6.0-7.0.
