It is ideal as a ground cover plant. It climbs beautifully on trellises, arbors, and pergolas. It prefers a warm, sunny, partial shade position, and should be sheltered from strong and cold winds.
Plant the clematis 10 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Shade the base with low shrubs and cover it with bark up to a height of 10-20 cm before winter. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich soils (pH 6-7) and well-drained. Start fertilizing in April and water intensively during the growing season.
The plant is resistant to diseases.
