A charming, very vigorous (4 m), hardy, and low-maintenance botanical variety with green leaves lasting until November. In summer and autumn, it is covered with masses of small white flowers with intensely yellow stamens, and in autumn, it features decorative, fluffy seed heads. The plant looks beautiful both in the garden and in pots on a balcony or terrace and can be successfully cultivated throughout Poland.
Usage: It climbs wonderfully on pergolas, fences, walls, gazebos, trellises, and natural supports like coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs, and small bushes. It also looks stunning as a ground cover or screening plant.
Blooming: From July to October.
Position: South, east, west.
Care: Plant the clematis 10 cm deeper than it grew in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base with low shrubs, and before winter, cover it with bark up to 10-20 cm high. It thrives best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (PH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: This variety blooms on the current year's shoots, so it should be pruned heavily in late February or March. In the first year after planting, cut it 30 cm above the ground over strong buds, in the second year 40 cm, and in subsequent years 50 cm above the ground.
