This is one of the first varieties of clematis that has golden-yellow leaves. The purple-blue flowers create a striking contrast with the leaf color. It can be used as a ground cover or climbing plant. It grows to a height of 2-3m.

Usage: Clematis is particularly useful for planting near various types of fences, stones, tree trunks, deciduous or coniferous shrubs. It is a plant that is successfully used as a ground cover plant. It attaches itself to supports with the petioles of its leaves.

Flowering: The flowers are small, purple-blue, bell-shaped, with a diameter of 5-6cm, opening widely and consisting of 4-8 lanceolate segments. The clematis flowers in late April and May. During the summer, it blooms again, but less intensely.

Care: It is low-maintenance and frost-resistant. It prefers a semi-shaded position. However, it colors beautifully in a well-lit location.
