A stunning, profusely flowering, vigorous variety with unique two-tone flowers, featuring a white center with green stamens and red-purple petals on the outside. This frost-resistant variety is low-maintenance and easy to grow. It is excellent as a ground cover plant. It looks beautiful both in gardens and in pots on balconies or terraces. Perfectly suited to Polish climatic conditions.
Uses: Perfectly climbs pergolas, fences, walls, gazebos, trellises, and natural supports like coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs, and bushes. Thrives in large pots on balconies, terraces, and small gardens. Excellent ground cover plant.
Flowering: From early June to September.
Exposure: Southern, eastern, western.
Care: Plant clematis 5 cm deeper than it was growing in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base, for example, with low shrubs, and before winter, cover with bark up to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich soil, rich in calcium (pH 6-7), and well-aerated. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: This variety flowers on current year's shoots, so prune heavily in late February or March. In the first year after planting, cut back to 30 cm above the ground above strong buds, 40 cm in the second year, and 50 cm in subsequent years.
