A very frost- and disease-resistant variety with beautiful large pale white-pink flowers with a dark pink stripe. Blooms twice a year!!! A plant successfully grown throughout Poland. Ideal for semi-shade and shade.
Use: It climbs beautifully on pergolas, fences, walls, gazebos, trellises, and natural supports like coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs, and small bushes.
Blooming: From May to June and again in August - September.
Exposure: Eastern, western, northern.
Care: Plant the clematis 5 cm deeper than it was in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base, for example, with low shrubs, and before winter, cover with bark to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Fertilize from April, and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: Spring blooming on last year's shoots, so at the end of February and early March, remove dead and diseased shoots, and cut healthy, live shoots lightly, i.e., in the first year after planting, 30 cm from the ground above strong buds, in the second year 70 cm, and in the following years 150 cm from the ground.
