This variety is characterized by the intensity of flower colors, which is why it is considered one of the most beautiful grasses. The flower clusters have beautiful, dense red flowers, which in autumn
turn beige to orange-yellow. The clumps reach a height of about 70–90 cm, and when the flower clusters appear, their height increases to even 160 cm. The leaves of this variety are long and green with a white stripe in the middle.

The ornamental grass grows best in moist, fertile soil. It prefers sunny and warm positions. It also tolerates slightly shaded areas. The variety is frost-resistant, but in winter,
it is good to cover young plants with wood chips, bark, or dry leaves.

In spring, dry leaves should be cut off, making sure not to damage the emerging young shoots.
