Chinese Miscanthus 'Adagio' is a perennial grass that forms beautiful clumps. This variety is relatively low (50-60 cm, and during flowering reaches up to 80 cm). Its habit is compact. The leaves of the miscanthus are grey-green, narrow, and turn yellow in the autumn. The flower heads of 'Adagio' form pinkish panicles that appear in mid-August and decorate the plant until the end of the growing season. They are also striking in winter, as they take on a white hue.

It requires fertile, moist soil and a sunny or slightly shaded location. The position should be sheltered from strong and cold winds. Young plants should be protected from frost.

Miscanthus is ideal for planting in pots. It thrives on balconies, terraces, and is a unique decoration for both homes and gardens.
