A mid‑late, very productive variety forming fairly vigorous shrubs. It is highly recommended due to its late ripening time, strong resistance and high fruit quality. The site should be sunny, sheltered from wind, and the soil well‑drained. Blueberries prefer acidic soil. They like plenty of moisture but do not tolerate waterlogging.

A mid‑late, very productive variety forming fairly vigorous shrubs. It is highly recommended due to its late ripening time, strong resistance and excellent fruit quality. The berries are very large, spherical, slightly flattened, light blue, gathered in small, loose clusters. The flesh is greenish, firm, sweet‑wine in flavour, aromatic and tasty. They ripen from mid‑August and retain their aroma and flavour until the end of summer. Suitable for fresh consumption, processing and freezing. The shrubs grow dense, reaching 130–160 cm, with an upright habit. For pollination, blueberries require another variety, so planting in groups is recommended. Use: Plant shrubs at 2–2.5 m spacing. Before planting, enrich the soil with acidic high peat. After planting, mulch with bark or conifer sawdust. Fully frost‑resistant, tolerating –28 °C to –34 °C. Diseases that may affect blueberries include stem blight, dieback, grey mould, anthracnose, white leaf spot and brown rot. Possible pests include grubs, wireworms, blueberry gall midge, bud mites, aphids, thrips, leafrollers and vine weevils. Fruiting: Flowers appear in spring. Fruits begin to ripen in August, with the ripening period lasting about 3 weeks. Yields reach up to 6 kg per shrub. The berries are large, aromatic and very tasty, gathered in loose clusters (similar to the ‘Spartan’ variety). Ripe fruits remain on the shrub for a long time without falling; harvesting is manual. Care: Sunny to semi‑shaded, wind‑sheltered locations. Best grown on forest‑adjacent plots. Soil should be humus‑rich, light, well‑drained, acidic (pH 3.5–4) and moist. Due to high water demand during the growing season, groundwater should be relatively high (40–60 cm). Regular watering is necessary during drought. Pruning: Do not prune immediately after planting. The first corrective pruning is done after four years. Until then, remove only dead or diseased branches. Older shrubs require intensive pruning. Fruits tolerate transport well.
