The harvest is quite abundant, and the fruits are ready for picking more than a week after full coloration, usually in the second half of August. Blueberry fruits are highly nutritious and low in calories, containing minerals, vitamins, and pectins. In autumn, the blueberry leaves beautifully turn carmine-red, even to purple.
Care: Requires acidic soil with a pH of 4-5, or even 3.5-4, and irrigation is necessary on light soils. Prefers a sunny location.
Pruning: Older bushes should be thinned by removing diseased and overly dense shoots.
