Usage: This variety is recommended for amateur cultivation and plantations, and due to its large, tasty, and aromatic fruits, it is also suitable for direct consumption, as an addition to cakes and desserts, and for freezing and preserving. It is suitable for cultivation in all regions of Poland due to its high frost resistance of up to -30°C, and even -40°C.
Flowering and fruiting: This is a mid-early variety, with fruits beginning to ripen in mid-July. It blooms very abundantly from May, with white or slightly pink flowers. The leaves are green, turning color in autumn and falling in winter. The fruits are large, oval, slightly flattened, dark blue, covered with a waxy coating, firm, tasty, very aromatic, and collected in large, compact clusters, with smaller fruits from later harvests.
Cultivation: Prefers strongly acidic soil with a pH of 3.5-4, rich in organic matter. This variety also tolerates heavier, waterlogged soils. If planted in soil with low acidity, the shrubs become dwarfed and do not bear fruit. The variety grows better in warm, sunny locations.
Pruning: Requires strong pruning and, due to its abundant flowering, thinning of flowers.
