A strong creeper, self-clinging to walls, low-maintenance, and healthy. The leaves are dark green, arranged in a roof-like pattern, and beautifully change to scarlet-red in the fall, especially in sunny locations. It reaches 10-20 m (1-2 m per year). Especially useful for planting on buildings and fences, but also suitable for planting near gazebos, pergolas, and other supports. An excellent groundcover plant. Can be used on balconies.
