Very early, long, and abundantly flowering botanical variety with charming semi-double yellow flowers (6–8 cm) and pale yellow stamens. From June to autumn, it forms fluffy, decorative seed heads. Dislikes heavy clay or overly light soils. Prefers fertile, humus-rich, well-drained and moist soil, pH 6.0–7.0. Thrives in sunny, wind-sheltered spots. Fully frost-resistant.
A very early, long, and abundantly flowering botanical variety with charming semi-double yellow flowers, 6–8 cm in diameter, with pale yellow stamens. From June until autumn, it’s adorned with fluffy, decorative seed heads. Bred in Sweden from a cross between Clematis fauriei and Clematis sibirica. Beautiful in gardens or containers on balconies and terraces. Very resistant to diseases and frost.
Use: Perfect for climbing over pergolas, fences, walls, arbors, trellises, and natural supports like coniferous and deciduous trees, shrubs, and subshrubs. Also stunning as a ground cover.
Flowering: From April to the end of May, followed by showy, fluffy seed heads lasting through the season.
Position: Any.
Care: Plant 10 cm deeper than it was in the pot and at least 30 cm from other plants or walls. Mulch the surrounding soil with bark. Shade the base with low shrubs; before winter, cover with bark up to 10–20 cm. Best grown in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6–7), well-aerated soil. Fertilize from April and water generously during the growing season.
