A profusely flowering, very resistant, low-maintenance, and fast-growing variety with beautiful, blue-violet, full, and whimsically shaped retro-style flowers. It grows up to 3-5 meters. It thrives throughout Poland. The plant looks great both in the garden on pergolas, trellises, and in pots on balconies or terraces. Clematis prefers a sunny, warm spot, sheltered from cold and strong winds. The soil should be fertile, humus-rich, well-drained, and moist.
Application: Suitable for cultivation on trellises, arches, pergolas, and arbors. It can climb natural supports, shrubs, and small trees. It can also serve as a groundcover plant.
Flowering: June-September.
Exposure: Southern, eastern, western.
Care: Plant the clematis 10 cm deeper than it was in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Shade the base, e.g., with small shrubs, and before winter, cover it with bark to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich soils (pH 6-7) and well-drained soil. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: This variety flowers on new shoots, so prune it heavily in late February or early March. In the first year after planting, cut 30 cm above the ground above strong buds, in the second year 40 cm, and in subsequent years 50 cm above the ground.
