A profusely blooming, very hardy, low-maintenance, and fast-growing variety with beautiful, blue-purple, double, whimsically shaped flowers in a retro style. It grows up to 3-5 m. It grows throughout Poland. The plant looks beautiful both in the garden on pergolas, trellises, and in pots on balconies or terraces. Clematis prefers a sunny, warm, and sheltered spot, protected from cold and strong winds. The soil should be fertile, humus-rich, well-drained, and moist.
Usage: Suitable for cultivation near trellises, arbors, pergolas, and gazebos. It can climb on natural supports, shrubs, and small trees. It can also serve as a ground cover plant.
Flowering: June-September.
Exposure: Southern, eastern, western.
Care: Plant the clematis 10 cm deeper than it was in the pot, and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base with, for example, small shrubs, and before winter, cover it with bark up to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich soils, rich in calcium (pH 6-7), and well-drained. Fertilize from April and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: A variety that blooms on this year’s shoots, so cut back strongly in late February or early March. In the first year after planting, cut 30 cm above the ground, above strong buds; in the second year, cut 40 cm, and in subsequent years, cut 50 cm above the ground.
