A very attractive and extremely abundant flowering variety. It grows up to 3-4 m, with large, velvety, bright red-crimson flowers and creamy-brown stamens. The plant looks beautiful both in the garden and in pots on balconies or terraces, it is frost-resistant and low-maintenance. This clematis is successfully cultivated throughout Poland.
Usage: It climbs wonderfully on pergolas, fences, walls, arbors, trellises, and natural supports like trees, shrubs, and small bushes. It grows beautifully in large pots on balconies, terraces, and in small gardens.
Flowering: from the beginning of July to October.
Exposure: south, west, east
Care: Plant the clematis 5 cm deeper than it was in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the plant with bark. Shade the base with low shrubs, and before winter, cover it with bark up to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Fertilize from April and water abundantly during the growing season.
Pruning: This variety flowers on this year's shoots, so prune it hard at the end of February or March. In the first year after planting, cut 30 cm above strong buds, in the second year 40 cm, and in subsequent years 50 cm above the ground.
