Abundantly flowering, very hardy, low-maintenance, and fast-growing variety with beautiful, blue-violet, full, retro-styled flowers. Grows up to 3-5 m. It grows throughout Poland. The plant looks beautiful both in the garden on pergolas, trellises, and in pots on balconies or terraces. Clematis prefers a sunny, warm spot, sheltered from cold and strong winds. The soil should be fertile, humus-rich, permeable, and moist.
Application: Suitable for growing on trellises, arbors, pergolas, and gazebos. It can climb natural supports, shrubs, and small trees. It can also serve as a ground cover plant.
Blooming: June-September.
Exposure: Southern, eastern, western.
Care: Plant the clematis 10 cm deeper than it was in the pot and at least 30 cm away from other plants or walls. Mulch the soil around the seedling with bark. Shade the base with, for example, small shrubs, and before winter, cover with bark up to a height of 10-20 cm. It grows best in fertile, humus-rich, calcium-rich (pH 6-7), and well-drained soils. Fertilize from April, and water intensively during the growing season.
Pruning: A variety that blooms on this year's shoots, so prune heavily at the end of February to early March. In the first year after planting, prune 30 cm above the soil level, above strong buds; in the second year, 40 cm, and in subsequent years, 50 cm above the soil level.
